Separate contribution from control
A relative who knows names may only need to view a selection and send corrections separately. Someone preparing a working album may need to add files. Someone administering a collaboration may need broader powers. Start with the task and choose permissions afterward rather than inviting everyone as an editor for convenience.
Understand the documented levels
pCloud’s folder-invitation help describes View as preview/download, Edit as adding,changing and deleting, and Manage as editing and resharing. It also says permissions apply through subfolders. Those are meaningful differences: an invitation to a broad parent folder can expose more than the single visible album you intended. Check the current account interface before sending an invitation.
Keep the master out of experiments
Use a working selection for collaborative edits while preserving an independent master. Test permissions with harmless examples and confirm which person owns the resulting files.
